Alongside my teaching and academic work, I occasionally undertake a limited amount of private tuition in History and Politics.

My principal areas of interest are advanced subject tuition, academic enrichment, essay writing and historical method, and preparation for university study. I am particularly interested in working with pupils who wish to develop their understanding beyond the requirements of an examination syllabus and to acquire the habits of independent reading, argument and discussion required for further study.
